How do you break up with a guy?

Well i have been dating this guy for a month and well, it just doesn't seem to be working. We barely talk and just other stuff. So i want to break up with him. I still like him, just not like that any more. So how can i say it without hurting him to badly or myself cause i do still like him but not really. thanks.How do you break up with a guy?

make it as fast and painless as possible, avoid words like dont, shouldnt, etc it makes it sound negative, emphasize good stuff about him and the fact u still want to talk, hang out, be close friends, etc. thats basically all i can think of right now. good luck hun!
Tell him that its hard not talking to him a lot and stuff, and since you don't talk and stuff , then you should jsut be friends becasue if you wait to long theres a chance that you could ruin your friendship all together .
