How do I break-up with a guy?

Well,this guy i used to like him but now he is just so boring! Every time he comes over he just wants to run around and play in my back yard.He acts like I am not even there.I dated him when I was younger and then I broke up with him.After that he wouldn't talk to me for to years!I still want to be his friend but I don't know how I can break up with him and he still can be my friend.HELP!How do I break-up with a guy?
One way, tell him the truth, in a way. Tell him that you are sorry but you just don't feel the same thing that you used to with him, that the spark just isn't there anymore but that you still enjoy his company (because you still want to be friends), so you really still want to be friends but you just don't see a future between the 2 of you in a relationship sense, and don't want to waste anymore of his or your time in something that you know isn't going to go anywhere.





Oooor, the kind of cowardly way that may take a little longer, and is very hit or miss (may work, may not work), is just start acting very, very, very distant. Almost mistreating him but not exactly. Treat him like you would treat a friend, or a little brother even lol. When he touches you push him away, kisses you push away, when he makes a joke, don't laugh, you get the point. It's kind of mean and could even cause a break in the friendship, but untimately the hope is that he'll get so frustrated that, HE'LL break up with you! lol

there's no easy way to do it, you just need to be honest and clear but keep your claws retracted, don't inflict unnecessary pain but make sure he understands you are serious. if he is really into you then it will take time to be friends so make sure he knows you're willing to give him that time.
explain to him why you don't want to be with him anymore and that you still want to talk to him and be friends, tell him in person not by text because getting finished by a text is hurtful
Just tell him that you want to be friends, and that you and him are just not meant for eachother. Let him go easily if you want him to be your friend.
