How do you break up with a guy without breaking his heart?

I have a bf of two years now and still love him but not as much as i used to.Reason why i wanna break up with him is bc I have given so much to him (cooking for him 2-3 times a day, washing his clothes, cleaning after him, etc.) and it seems as if he does not appreciate it or show me that he appreciates it. I want to break up with him but dont know how to break it to him without breaking his heart....please helpHow do you break up with a guy without breaking his heart?
You don't want to break his heart? Are you serious? I don't understand the mentality of women today, honestly. First of all, it's OK to do these things...when he's your husband...when he has pledged to love you and cherish you above all others.





Also, love is a choice, an action, not a feeling. So when you marry someone, you make a choice to love them. It is not based on feelings. You don't follow your heart you lead your heart, otherwise your fickle feelings will be all over the place (that's why there's so many divorces).





Of course he does not appreciate what you do because ';why buy the cow when you get the milk for free?'; (I'm sure it includes sex too). Do yourself a favor, set your standards higher, and wait until the right one comes along. Be married and lavish your love on someone who deserves it. Well if the guy didn't love you it wouldn't matter if his heart was broken. Plus you have gone out of your way for him numerous of times it seems. I would just be totally honest with him, no sugar coating. You could say ';Im out of love with you, I've bent over backwards to make you happy and I get nothing in return';. Most guys would appreciate that from a woman. He is an example of guys that are insecure and don't want to take responsibility of the way things have been in a relationship. Once you have said your peace you can move on. There's no need to linger any longer.
It surprises me that American women still cook/bake and clean. In Japan/Korea most girls don't know how make bread or use a vacumm until they have finished college.





And yet I also noticed most men here have very little appreciation and think of themselves as ';the king of the house'; or ';master of domain';, especially during football games.





I would have walked out on day one.
